Molly

"Molly" was painted by me to give to family members after they recently and unexpectedly lost heir beloved doggy right after surgery. It was a way for me to try to assuage their grief, to give them this, and yet it may also have been for me, also, as I have a tender heart towards pets and animals. As I painted I tried to capture her personality. as much as her appearance. I included three little (and subtle) hearts in her face area.
