This is a painting of a very popular local wet fish shop and delicatessen in the picturesque village of Burnham Market in North Norfolk, UK. It was particularly appealing as due to the large amount of rainfall earlier this year, the Goose Beck was running through the centre of the village. I painted it over 3 mornings en Plein air but finished it in the studio
