Bushido

For years visiting Asian sections in museums or Asian Museums I have been fulfilling an obsession, studying Samurai armor. The design, craftsmanship, intricacy of the leather, metal and fabric work astonishes and amazes me. I have always wanted to paint a series paying homage the samurai culture and the artisans who sustained it. This is the first in the series, “Bushid?, which means Way of the Warrior.
